Sweet Home South Africa!

July is done! What a long, full month it was!

From Yosemite National Park to the Art & Soul Reunion Party, to saying our goodbyes and coming back to South Africa, July was intense and unforgettable!

Six-months married and 46-years in this Earth suit, July 12th was a time for celebration, so we drove the 2 1/2 hours from Fresno to Yosemite. I lived and worked in Yosemite 26 years ago, so for me it was a time of reflection and remembrance, but it was Cameron's (and the children's) first time there, for all of us it was our favorite natural site of all our travels. Despite the crowds and traffic, common this time of year, we were able to get a camping spot and spend a-day-and-a-half experiencing the AWE of massive granite and water falls for which the park is world-famous. The Earth speaks loudly in places such as this, but can only be heard when we are still and listening. So I took some time alone by the river and had a great conversation with Mama. You can read about that here.

The Art of God and Soul of Earth that is Yosemite, influenced the perfect state of mind for us to return to Fresno and prepare for the Art & Soul Reunion party, which was held at Wendy and Mark DeRaud's Mia Studio and Gallery (click here to read about them in last month's letter). The atmosphere and emotion of the party was a deep desire made manifest--a glimpse of future possibilities! From the lineup of performers to all the people who helped make it happen, to the guests present, it was everything we could have hoped it to be and so much more. The spirit of community, authenticity, and deep soulful expression blanketed the event, and the Love and support we felt for ourselves, personally, and our mission, was overwhelming. It was to us, the feel and fulfillment of the Omni Foundation's mission to bring oneness to life through spiritual awareness and community.

Many goodbyes were said that night, and in the two days following. We left Fresno on the morning of July 17, for LAX. It took us nearly 48 hours to make it home. Our family and friends will surely be missed, but despite the sad goodbyes, we are grateful and excited to be back in Graskop, and back to the business of homeschooling and Omni building.

Speaking of OMNI BUILDING! Now that we are legal to reside In South Africa, The Omni Foundation has opened a bank account, and we can now accept donations!

I don't know if you know this, but our dreams are BIG and so far, they have been unfolding beautifully! One of those dreams is to raise $1,000,000 US within a year for property, buildings and machinery. Don't ask us how we intend for this to happen, we only know that with God all things are possible, and it is evident that God is with us.

So that's what's up with Omni.

Would you like to join our family? There are many ways you can participate in this vision, whether living in community, volunteering, donating, investing, advertising your website in "My LIST Book," purchasing "Tale of a Runaway Toenail," hosting a living-room/campfire/anywhere concert (currently only in High Veld area). Think about it, pray about it, meditate on it. Listen to the leading of your heart.

Infinite Blessings to All!
