July 2018, Issue 15
Happy birthday Canada (July 1) and USA (July 4)!
July is a month of celebrating Liberty: Summertime, no school, my birthday (Leah).
It’s a time for fireworks, picnics, barbeques, holidays and fun!
It’s also a time to reflect on the privileges our national freedoms bring, such as self-expression, movement, economy, personhood, education, freedom to thrive, relative Peace. We reflect on the fact that these freedoms didn’t come cheap. We consider the places where many are deprived of these basic human rights. We pray for their Peace and Prosperity, and we are grateful for our own.
For our family, here in South Africa, this attitude of celebration, contemplation, and gratitude for Freedom are no different. The freedoms we have been afforded, to live the life of our dreams, came at a heavy cost and we are eternally grateful for it.
Happy Birthday and Father’s Day Cameron!
We celebrate and give thanks for the husband, father, brother, son and man that Cameron is. He is, in every way, an amazing and beautiful being.
WE LOVE YOU CAMERON KIRRANE!
We had been looking forward to watching “The Incredibles,” in Nelspruit, to celebrate, but instead we got to see it in Durban!
It was an unfortunate circumstance that called us to Durban—Cameron’s father fell and broke his hip. We were there to visit and to help Cameron’s sister, where needed, in arranging proper care. But we also made a work and play holiday of it.
We are grateful for the freedom to pick up and go, at any time, because we are not bound to typical work or school structures.
The property search took a back burner this past month.
We have decided to continue and expand our search, knowing that the right property and opportunities will unfold at the right time. It is a walk of Faith, Patience, and Perseverance. We look back at how things have unfolded thus far, and look forward to the miracles that most certainly lie ahead.
We are VERY excited to announce the Next
Omni Foundation publishing creation!
The children’s book is written and we’re in illustration mode.
We hope to have the book published by the end of July.
Free Form Fest!
July 13-15, here in Graskop, Mpumalanga, at the Graskop Resort
I’ll be opening the Free Form Festival live music stage Saturday July 14, at 12:30.
The Oodendals will be visiting again during the festival, and it’s my birthday week, so it’s gonna be another fun-filled weekend, sharing the blessings and message of our life.
We are grateful for the freedom to speak our truth and share our life in the peaceful and beautiful setting of Graskop, Mpumalanga.
We understand the difficulties modern families face with elderly care, and we see a need for change. Most cannot provide the necessary care for their own family members when the time comes. An integral part of the Omni Foundation vision is that of self-care on a community level. It is our plan to promote the welfare of our community members from birth to death, including health, education, spiritual growth, and community employment.
It takes a village…

This is what The Omni Foundation is working to create.
And that's what's up with Omni
Would you like to join our family? There are many ways that will be available to participate in this vision, whether living in community, volunteering, donating, investing, or purchasing our books.
Think about it, pray about it, meditate on it. Listen to the leading of your heart.
Infinite Blessings to All!
