One year in and growing great!
Whereas our first year’s focus was on spiritual and family matters, this year we’re all about bringing it down to Earth, and opening up to others.
March brought in a flurry!
First, we would like to welcome our new co-director, Bryan Brett, a former colleague of Cameron’s. He is currently Head of Programme and a professional addictions counselor at New Dawn, and is looking forward to becoming an active member of the Omni Foundation community.
Second, WE HAVE FOUND AN AMAZING PROPERTY, that would
perfectly suit our needs and dreams for building the first Omni Foundation Soul Sanctuary and we are seeking investors! If you’re interested in the details, please click on this PDF link to our (informal and subject-to-change) proposal. It will give you a good idea of what is to come.
Thirdly, in keeping with bringing things down to earth, our website has taken on a whole new look! Please check it out, and don’t forget to sign up to receive this monthly progress report (What’s Up with Omni?), sent out the first week of each month.
And lastly, A Focus on Education: It is a divine paradox, that as we grow, we are also whittled down. We begin to take the shape of who we truly are. Along with our February/March growth spurt came a more refined vision, mission and purpose. Our purpose is four-fold, and includes offering classes and workshops encompassing the intertwined Spiritual, Social, Economic and Ecological aspects of life. You can read them, in detail, on our home page.
Planning, planning, and more planning, all whilst letting the miracles flow like they do.
Legal, accounting and other business frameworks, documents and contracts to draw up and put to work
More studies in community, sociology, ecology/permaculture, and spirituality
More dreaming and more honing of the vision.
Other than that, we’re looking forward to uBuntu Fest April 12 through 15. The venue has been changed to Mbombela stadium (Nelspruit). Yay that’s so much closer!
The further in we journey, on this road toward whole living, the more we encounter others on the same path. Where we once felt alone, and rather like mavericks, now we are coming into the greater community and receiving the light of other’s knowledge and wisdom in the process.
We are moving forward confidently and in good pace, one step at a time.
So far, our evolution has been slow, steady and organic, with occasional growth spurts, like the one we’re experiencing now! We like it that way. It's meant to be.
And that's what's up with Omni.
Would you like to join our family? There are many ways that will be available to participate in this vision, whether living in community, volunteering, donating, or investing. Think about it, pray about it, meditate on it. Listen to the leading of your heart.
Infinite Blessings to All!
